Race description
The Handewitter Summer Run on June 14, 2026, offers a diverse running event for the entire region with courses for all performance levels. From children’s races over 2.5 km, 5 km, 10 km, Nordic Walking, relay races to the half marathon and wheelchair race, there is something for everyone. The event takes place around the Wikinghalle in Handewitt and is characterized by a well-organized atmosphere, a lively mood, and an unforgettable finish experience. The courses, measured by the German Athletics Association (DLV), are flat with few elevation changes, making them ideal for beginners and experienced runners.
