Grafschafter Ahrtal-Lauf

The Grafschafter Ahrtal Run is a traditional running event jointly organized by the clubs SV Dernau, SV Hönningen/Ahr and Grafschafter SV. The event offers various distances for all age groups, including 400 m and 1 km children’s races, 5 km and 10 km races, and a 5 km walking competition. The start and finish are at the sports field in Grafschaft-Vettelhoven, and the course follows field paths, some of which are gravel or paved. The event is part of the Ahrtal Team Cup race series and offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with changing rooms and showers available on site.

Late entries are possible on race day until half an hour before the start. Parking is available directly at the sports field. Changing rooms and showers are located in the clubhouse at the sports field. Award ceremonies take place at around 10:45 a.m. for the 5 km and 10 km races, and at around 12:30 p.m. for the age groups in the 10 km race, followed by the children’s races. The courses pass through Grafschafter Forest and the vineyards of the Ahr Valley; online registration is available; parking is available at the sports field; changing rooms and showers are in the clubhouse; proceeds go to local sports clubs.
