Geithainer Herbstlauf

The Geithainer Autumn Run is a family-friendly autumn race held at the Geithain Stadium in Geithain, Germany. The event offers various distances for all age groups, including a 300 m kids' run, a 2.5 km chestnut run for children, as well as a 7 km pleasure run, 7 km walk, and a 17 km scenic run for older participants and walkers. Start and finish are located in the stadium, and the routes are GPS-measured and approved by the German Athletics Association. In addition to the races, there is a children's program, bouncy castle, certificates, medals, and small prizes, with every fifth finisher from 7 km onwards rewarded with a bottle of sparkling wine.

Every fifth finisher in the 7 km or longer races receives a bottle of sparkling wine. The event is organized by Impact Geithain e. V. with support from FSV Alemannia Geithain e. V. The children's program and bouncy castle are part of the event. The event includes children's runs, childcare, certificates, finisher medals, small prizes for children, and a special bonus: every fifth finisher in the longer races receives a bottle of sparkling wine.
