Fürstenwaldlauf

The Fürstenwaldlauf is a traditional scenic race in Upper Swabia, taking place for the 45th time in 2026. It is held as part of the Öchsle Festival in the city of Ochsenhausen on June 19 and is characterized by a family-friendly atmosphere. The main race is a quarter marathon, mostly run on forest paths with some challenging sections, starting and ending with a stadium lap at the Hopfengarten sports complex. Additionally, a 5 km course is offered, which begins on the same route as the main race but turns back after 2.5 km. The race is approved by the German Athletics Association (DLV).

The 2026 schedule includes various races: Bambini run (300 m) at 4:00 PM, school runs (800 m) starting at 4:30 PM, followed by the main race and 5 km run. Start and finish are located at the Hopfengarten sports complex, address Hopfengarten 3, 88416 Ochsenhausen. There are catering and health services on site. The race is approved by the DLV. The course runs on forest paths, online registration is possible, children's races take place in the stadium, catering included, parking available, DLV approved.
