Fürst Carl Seenlandmarathon

The Fürst Carl Seenland Marathon takes place on September 19 and 20, 2026, in Pleinfeld on Lake Brombach. The event offers a range of distances, including the marathon, half marathon, relay, fun run, schoolchildren’s run, and Bambini run, on paved and partly asphalted paths. The marathon and half-marathon distances are officially certified by the German Athletics Association (DLV). The event welcomes runners of all ages and offers a varied program with supporting events and refreshments.

Start times and the course closure time are listed in the schedule on the website. On event day, race-pack collection and late registration are available from 07:00 to 11:00. A free training plan with different ability levels is available to download. Bicycle accompaniment is prohibited and will be penalized. The event includes a marathon, half marathon, relay, schoolchildren’s run, and fun run; family activities and opportunities to take part; and scenic routes around Lake Brombach.
