Friedeholz Cross

The Friedeholz Cross is a traditional forest cross-country race in Syke, Lower Saxony, and part of the Syke-Weyher Cross Series. On November 29, 2026, races will be held over various distances, from a 1.3 km schoolchildren’s race to the 10.3 km main race, for children, young people, and adults. The course runs mostly on forest trails, with a short asphalt section before the finish at Waldstadion Syke. The event offers a varied cross-country running experience in an autumn setting and is ideal for runners of all ages.

Four distances on race day: 1.3 km schoolchildren’s race, 3.6 km middle distance for U16 and older, and 10.3 km main race for U20 and older. The event is part of a series of three races, with series scoring for those who register before the first race. Switching between the middle and long distances is possible, but does not count as a series switch.
