Race description
The Friedeholz Cross is a traditional forest cross-country race in Syke, Lower Saxony, which is part of the Syke-Weyher Cross-Series. On November 29, 2026, races will be held over various distances, from a 1.3 km school run to the 10.3 km main race, suitable for children, teenagers, and adults. The course mostly runs on forest paths with a short asphalt section before the finish line in the Syke Forest Stadium. The event offers a varied cross-country experience in an autumnal atmosphere and is ideal for runners of all ages.

Additional information
Four distances on race day: 1.3 km school run, 3.6 km middle distance from U16, 10.3 km main race from U20. The event is part of a series of three races with series scoring when registering before the first race. Switching between middle and long distance is possible but does not count as a series switch. Forest paths, cross-country, series scoring, registration required for series scoring, limited shower and changing facilities in the Syke Forest Stadium.
