Finkenwerder Insellauf (mit HH-Meisterschaften 5 km)

The Finkenwerder Island Run takes place on 6 June 2026 in Finkenwerder, Hamburg, and offers a varied range of races for all age groups. The main races follow an accurately measured, flat 5 km loop through green spaces and along the Elbe, ideal for fast times and the Hamburg 5 km Championships. There are also age-appropriate races for children and young people, as well as relay and walking events. The event is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, its start and finish right at Finkenwerder Market Square, and its sustainable approach, including reusable cups and recycled medals.

Late entries are possible at Market Square until approximately one hour before the start (18:15), for an additional fee. Showers and changing facilities are available at Gorch-Fock-Halle, approximately 250 m away. The event is part of the BSV Summer Cup and the Hamburgiade. It is organised sustainably, with reusable cups, recycled medals and waste prevention. The awards ceremony takes place at Market Square from approximately 20:15.
