Eselsburger-Tal-Lauf

The 28th Eselsburger Tal-Lauf takes place on 5 July 2026 in Herbrechtingen. This long-standing running event warmly welcomes runners of all ages. The varied routes pass through the picturesque Eselsburger Tal and offer ideal conditions for both competitive athletes and recreational runners. The youngest participants can test themselves in the Bambini and school races, while the half marathon—the premier event—covers two laps through the nature reserve. Alongside the competition, the event puts the shared experience, friendly atmosphere and dedicated volunteers first.

Start times: Bambini race at 8:30, school races from 8:50, and the 5.5 km, 10 km and half marathon from 9:15. Race-pack collection on 4 July from 13:00 to 16:00 and on 5 July from 7:00. Electronic timing with a single-use transponder. Changing rooms and showers at the Neue Bibrishalle. Medical support provided by Bergwacht Herbrechtingen. Award ceremony and prize draw with valuable prizes after the races. Distances from 500 m to the half marathon; family-friendly; nature reserve; various race categories.
