Race description
The Elmshorn City Run is a traditional running event for the whole family in Elmshorn. The officially measured 5 km loop mainly runs on paved streets through the city center. In addition to the main races over 5 and 10 kilometers, children's runs over 600 m and 1.5 km are also offered. The event is also the SHLV state championship and offers a lively atmosphere with catering and an accompanying program at the town hall square.

The 10 km race starts at 9:30 a.m., the 5 km races start between 11:15 and 11:20 a.m., children's runs start between 11:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Late registrations are also possible on the day of the event. The event is a fundraising event for the renovation of the Nikolaikirche tower. Catering with sausage, cake, and drinks at the town hall square.
