Eichberglauf

The Eichberglauf has been organized for nearly 20 years by the Cultural and Homeland Association "Rund um den Eichberg" e.V. and offers summer runs for the whole family. On June 7, 2026, the 19th race will take place, starting at the club's camp Am Heller. There are six different routes to choose from, mostly over unpaved terrain and through the Planitzwald. The event is suitable for all age groups, including special routes for children and wheelchair users. Participants receive certificates, and there are material prizes for the best runners as well as team trophies.

Late registrations are possible on race day with an additional fee (3 € for adults, 1 € for children/teenagers). All participants receive a participation certificate with race times, which can be accessed online. There are material prizes for the top three in each age group and team trophies for the best four-person team (5.2 km) and the best children's team (800 m). First aid point at start/finish. Snack and beverage options at moderate prices on site. Routes are partly unpaved and trail-like. Online registration until June 18, 2026, late registrations on site against a fee. Water stations available. Scoring according to BLV. Participation at own risk.
