Eichberglauf

The Eichberglauf has been organized for almost 20 years by the Kultur- und Heimatverein „Rund um den Eichberg“ e.V. and offers summer runs for the whole family. The 19th run will take place on June 7, 2026, starting at the club’s storage facility at Am Heller. There are six different courses to choose from, mostly over unpaved terrain and through the Planitzwald. The event is suitable for all age groups, including special courses for children and wheelchair users. Participants receive certificates, and there are prizes for the top runners as well as team trophies.

Late entries are possible on race day for an additional fee (€3 for adults, €1 for children and young people). All participants receive a certificate of participation showing their times, which can be accessed online. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group, and team trophies go to the best team of four (5.2 km) and the best children’s team (800 m). First-aid station at the start/finish. A selection of snacks and drinks is available on site at moderate prices. Some sections are unpaved and trail-like. Online registration is open until 18.06.2026; late entries are available on site for a fee. Water stations are available. Results are scored according to BLV rules. Participation is at your own risk.
