DresdenHALF

The DresdenHALF is an exciting half marathon that will pass through the heart of Dresden for the first time on September 6, 2026. The 21.1-kilometer course runs along the Elbe and past the city’s most beautiful landmarks, with each mile symbolically dedicated to one of Dresden’s partner cities. The event offers runners a unique experience against a historic backdrop and with an international atmosphere. In addition to the half marathon, there are also other races for children and recreational runners, making the weekend a special running experience.

The DresdenHALF starts at the World Trade Center Dresden and finishes at the Saxon State Parliament. The course is officially measured and eligible for record lists. Participants must be at least 16 years old, and the time limit is 3 hours. Race packets will be distributed on September 4 and 5, 2026, at the World Trade Center Dresden. Every participant receives exclusive arm warmers and a finisher’s medal. The EWG Dresden5K includes an exclusive bobble hat. It is possible to transfer a race entry for a fee. All KidsRUN participants receive a finisher’s medal and certificate. The course is officially measured; participation is open to runners aged 16 and over; the time limit is 3 hours; merchandise and race-entry transfers are available; children’s races and events on the day before the race on September 5 are included.
