DresdenHALF

The DresdenHALF is an exhilarating half marathon that will take runners through the heart of Dresden for the first time on September 6, 2026. The 21.1-kilometer course runs along the Elbe River and past the city's most beautiful sights, with each mile symbolically dedicated to one of Dresden's partner cities. The event offers runners a unique running experience with a historic backdrop and international flair. In addition to the half marathon, there are also races for children and hobby runners, making the weekend a special running event.

Start and finish of the DresdenHALF are at the World Trade Center Dresden and the Saxon State Parliament. The course is officially measured and eligible for rankings. Participation is possible from age 16, with a time limit of 3 hours. Race materials will be distributed on September 4 and 5, 2026, at the World Trade Center Dresden. Each participant receives exclusive arm sleeves and a finisher medal. For the EWG Dresden5K, there is an exclusive pom-pom hat. Transfer of starting places is possible for a fee. All participants in the KidsRUN will receive a finisher medal and a certificate. The course is officially measured, participation is from age 16, with a 3-hour time limit, merchandise and transfer of starting places are possible, including children's races and pre-event activities on September 5.
