Drachenlauf

The Drachenlauf is a challenging trail race in the Siebengebirge near Königswinter, taking place on October 25, 2026. The route passes through one of Germany’s oldest nature parks and features technically demanding trails with more than a thousand metres of elevation gain, steep climbs and long descents. The race is for experienced runners who want to experience nature and test their limits. The event has a distinctive atmosphere in the autumn forest of the Rhenish Alps and fosters a sense of community among participants.

Registration is only available online via raceresult.com. The race is limited to 555 participants. On-site late registration is possible if places are still available, for a fee of 4 euros. Participants taking part for the 10th, 15th or 20th time receive special All-Timer shirts and race numbers. Shuttle buses run from the largest car park (REWE car park) to the start. The awards ceremony takes place at around 2 p.m. at Heinrich-Imbusch-Haus. Registration opens on June 14, 2026, at 8 p.m.; the event takes place in autumn in the Siebengebirge; a trail race with technical challenges and elevation gain.
