Race description
The Dinkelsbühl Relay Race takes place on July 12, 2026, in the historic old town of Dinkelsbühl. The relay consists of four runners, each completing approximately a 3-kilometer loop around the old town. The course passes landmarks such as the Old Promenade, the Wörnitztor gate, the city park, and the music pavilion, accompanied by an inclusive drumming group. There is also a Funtasia Kids-Run with age-appropriate circuits for children. The event offers not only a sporting competition but also a lively supporting program with music, a bouncy castle, and catering.

Additional information
Start and finish are at the triple gymnasium Ulmer Weg 6, Dinkelsbühl. Distribution of start documents and late registration from 08:45 AM. Moderation and DJ entertainment from 09:00 AM. Warm-up for children before the Kids-Runs. After the relay race, award ceremony and raffle. The course is marked with arrows and well visible for spectators. There is a supporting program for children with a bouncy castle, free ice cream, coffee & cake, as well as food and drinks. The relay course was changed in 2025 and includes a sharp right turn at the highest point.
