Detmolder Residenzlauf

The Detmold Residence Run is a traditional race event taking place on August 15, 2026, in Detmold. The event offers various runs for children, youth, and adults, including a toddler run, school runs, a 5 km fitness run, and the 10 km main race. Start and finish are located at the marketplace in Detmold, providing a central and lively setting. The event is supported by the Detmold municipal utilities and AÜG NETWORK as title sponsors and is characterized by a family-friendly atmosphere and diverse competitions.

Number pickup on the day of the event from 3:30 PM at the town hall at the market in Detmold. Timing is done via the Raceresult timing system; own chips are not permitted. Free entry to the Aqualip fun pool upon presentation of the start number. Medals for all participating children and youth. Award ceremony at the marketplace: school runs from approximately 6:30 PM, 10 km run from 8:00 PM. Friedrich-Brakemeier-Wanderpokal for the school with the highest participation rate. Vouchers for schools, teams, and groups with the most pre-registrations.
