Deichlauf Neuwied

The Deichlauf Neuwied is a traditional running event in Rhineland-Palatinate that appeals to runners of all ages. It offers various competitions, including children and youth runs, an Olympic school relay, 5 km and 10 km runs, as well as walking/nordic walking. The course runs along the dyke and provides an attractive running backdrop. The event is approved by the German Athletics Association and attracts around 2,000 participants annually.

Showers are not available. Medical services are on site at the finish and along the course. Photos and videos are taken by an authorized service provider and may be published. Late registrations are possible online until June 11, 2026, and on the day of the event until one hour before the respective start. Participants are insured under the sports insurance contract of the Sportbund Rheinland.
