Damscheider Kuckucks-Trail

The Damscheider Kuckucks-Trail on October 10, 2026, offers a varied trail-running experience across three distances in the picturesque landscape of the Rhine Heights near Damscheid. The 21 km Extended course runs through Damscheid Forest, over natural meadows and vineyards, and along the Schwede-Bure-Weg to the valley at Oberwesel and back, with around 700 metres of elevation gain. The 9.5 km Best of Trails course offers a classic trail feel with varied terrain and 240 metres of elevation gain. Children can take part in an approximately 1 km Kidsrun around the sports field. The event combines a sporting challenge with enjoyment of nature and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Bib collection from 11:00 a.m. at Damscheid sports field. Personalised bibs with timing transponders for the main races. Aid stations along the courses, drinks at the start and finish, and a barbecue stand and cakes at the sports field. Showers and changing rooms available on site. Dogs are not permitted during the competition. Trail running on hiking paths; course distances of 9.5 km and 21 km; children's race planned; registration opens on May 16, 2026; timing by Race Result; personalised bibs with transponders.
