Citylauf Leer

The Citylauf Leer is a traditional running event taking place on September 20, 2026, in downtown Leer at Denkmalsplatz. The event offers races for various age groups and distances, including Bambino, Teeny, 5 km, and 10 km races. The course follows closed circuits through the town center, with refreshment stations along the course and in the finish area. All participants receive a T-shirt (while supplies last), and attractive prizes and certificates are awarded to the top runners. The event offers individual and team classifications and takes place in all weather conditions.

Race bibs can be collected at Denkmalsplatz on event day from 10:00. Late registrations are accepted on event day from 10:00 until 45 minutes before the respective start. Each participant receives a T-shirt in exchange for returning their race bib, while supplies last. The top three finishers in each race receive prizes/vouchers and a certificate/medal. There is a team classification for the 5 km race, with at least 3 runners per team. The event takes place in all weather conditions. Animals are not permitted to participate. Course on a closed circuit through the town center, refreshments along the course, online certificate printing, team classification, race bibs with deposit, no animals permitted.
