CANOSSA Benefiz Berglauf

The CANOSSA Charity Mountain Run® in Bad Harzburg is a challenging charity run through the Harz National Park, taking place on September 20, 2026. Participants can complete the course running, walking or hiking; it ends at the CANOSSA Column on Burgberg. The event supports inclusive work with children and young people in the Goslar district and combines a sporting challenge with social commitment. After the run, participants can enjoy a festive post-race event with music, refreshments and an awards ceremony.

Race bibs are available from 8:30 a.m. upon submission of a signed liability waiver. Two courses: 12 km run (starts at 10:00 a.m.) for runners aged 16 and over, and 6 km run (starts at 10:30 a.m.) for runners, walkers and hikers aged 10 and over. There are no course signs due to nature conservation requirements; participants can navigate using course marshals and Harz Club information signs. After the run, there will be music and refreshments on Burgberg, followed by an awards ceremony at around 12:00 p.m., with a unique indulgence certificate for all participants. It is possible to take the gondola up in exchange for a donation of at least 30 euros. The cable car’s last descent is at 6:00 p.m. The event is open to runners, walkers and hikers aged 10 and over. There are no course signs, only markers, and the event promotes environmental protection by asking participants not to leave any waste in nature. The event concludes with a program including music and refreshments on Burgberg.
