Büdelsdorfer Eiderlauf

The Büdelsdorf Eiderlauf is a traditional autumn race in Büdelsdorf, Schleswig-Holstein, organized by SG Athletico Büdelsdorf. It offers classic local road-race distances, including 5 km and 10 km, on flat, manageable courses that are ideal for recreational runners and beginners. The start and finish are often at Eiderstadion, giving the event a friendly, informal atmosphere. The race attracts children, young people, and local club runners, and is a fixture on the regional autumn running calendar.

The race takes place in typical October weather, with daytime temperatures around 14 °C and mostly cloudy skies. Distances range from 1.5 km to 11.1 km, including children's races. After a break during the COVID-19 pandemic, the format was adjusted to incorporate the start and finish in the stadium. Distances: 1.5 km, 5.3 km, 5.8 km, 10.9 km, 11.1 km; flat courses; autumn event; start and finish in the stadium; open to all age groups
