BraunenBerg-Lauf

The BraunenBerg-Lauf on September 19, 2026, offers varied mountain-running routes on the Ostalb, appealing to both beginners and experienced runners. The event includes several distances, including the technically easy 14.6 km VR Bank-BraunenBerg-Lauf with 446 meters of elevation gain and the challenging 32 km Rolladen Kaiser-BraunenBerg-Trail with 1,100 meters of elevation gain, which starts underground at the Tiefen Stollen visitor mine. Children and young people have their own races with personalized timing, refreshments, and medals. Runners can make use of a bag drop in the finish area and enjoy the friendly atmosphere on the Ostalb.

The Rolladen Kaiser-BraunenBerg-Trail starts underground at the Tiefen Stollen visitor mine. Participants are transported there together by special bus from Oberalfingen at 9:45 a.m. Personalized race bibs with timing chips, GPX data for download, refreshments at the finish, and medals for all finishers. A bag drop is available in the Oberalfingen finish area; no liability is accepted for valuables. Runners who exceed the time limit on the longer routes will be disqualified. The awards ceremony is at 3:30 p.m. in the finish area at Getränke Keller Oberalfingen. Multiple race categories, including trail, main race, and children’s races; routes pass landmarks such as the Braunenberg, mining trail, television tower, and Naturfreundehaus.
