Borkumer Meilenlauf und Nordic Walking

The 20th Borkum Mile Run with Nordic Walking will take place on September 5, 2026, on the North Sea island of Borkum. The varied courses lead through the charming beach and dune landscape and offer the right challenge for every running enthusiast, from the junior pirate run to the quarter marathon. The high-sea climate and fresh sea air make the event a special experience, complemented by a comprehensive supporting program for participants and accompanying persons.

Late registrations are possible on the day of the event on-site until 45 minutes before the competition begins for an additional fee of 5.00 EUR, but without entitlement to the full service package and T-shirt. Catering on the course and at the finish line, changing rooms, bag storage, showers, and 90 minutes of free access to the Erlebnisdeck of Gezeitenland are included. Additionally, discounted ferry prices are available during the event weekend. Routes on promenade and beach, no age classes for Nordic Walking, refreshment stations on longer routes.
