Borkener Citylauf

The Borken City Run is a traditional popular race that has been held annually in the city center of Borken since 1987. The event offers runs for young and old on a closed 2.5 km circuit that passes through the city center, the city park, and the marketplace. Starting and finishing at the marketplace, the City Run is a popular running event that appeals to both recreational runners and ambitious athletes. The event is organized by the Borken City Sports Association and several local clubs, offering a family-friendly atmosphere with various age groups and awards.

Late registrations are possible on the day of the event from 2:00 PM until 30 minutes before the respective race start for a fee of €2.00 at the Borken Tourist Information. Race bibs will be issued from 2:00 PM. Transponders are collected after crossing the finish line for a refundable €2.00. Races for different age groups, online registration, on-site late registration possible, special support for young runners with guide children.
