Bergisch Gladbacher Stadtlauf

The Bergisch Gladbach City Run is a long-standing running event that has taken place annually since 1996. On September 11, 2026, around 1,000 running enthusiasts will start at 6:30 p.m. on Konrad-Adenauer-Platz in the car-free city center. The event includes an untimed fun run and a main race with rankings in various age groups. The event is accompanied by a colorful program of music, food, and drinks, adding to the atmosphere of the city and culture festival.

Late registration for both races is available on September 12, 2025, from 4 p.m. The fun run is untimed and has no age-group categories. The main race includes rankings for all age groups, from birth year 2014 onward, in accordance with the 2025 German Athletics Regulations. Certificates for all participants are available online. The awards ceremony is at around 9 p.m. Special awards go to the largest registered group and the youngest and oldest participants. Distances: 3 km and 9 km; online registration; timing with a MikaTag transponder; program includes music and food.
