Bergdorfmeile

The Bergdorfmeile is a traditional race over a historic 8.88889 km course in Karlsruhe-Hohenwettersbach, taking place on Friday, June 26, 2026. With around 140 metres of elevation gain, the course is more challenging than a flat city route, but is designed so recreational runners can also take part comfortably. The race starts at 19:00 on Lindenstraße and finishes at the SV Hohenwettersbach sports ground. Alongside the main race, there is also an approximately 2 km youth race for children and teenagers. Every participant receives a high-quality technical shirt, and timing is based on net time using a chip-equipped race bib.

Race-bib collection and technical-shirt distribution take place on June 26, 2026, from 16:30 to 18:30 at the schoolyard, Kirchplatz, right by the start. Late entries are possible on race day, subject to the participant limit. Bag storage is available from 17:00 at the start; bags can be collected at the finish until 21:00. Showers are available at SV Hohenwettersbach. Timing is based on net time using a chip-equipped race bib, which must be worn on the chest. The finish closes at 20:15. Participants who reach the hiking car park at Lambrechtshof (approx. km 3.8) later than 19:34 will be removed from the results. The event is limited to approximately 1,000 participants, with chip timing and an online results list. The course is challenging, with around 140 metres of elevation difference.
