Belchenberglauf

The Belchen Mountain Run is a challenging 11.4 km mountain race with 824 m of elevation gain, running from Schönau im Schwarzwald to the Hotel Belchen. The route is approximately 37% forest road and 63% asphalt, and is marked with white arrows and red signs, making it suitable for year-round training. Around 80% of the race passes through open terrain and past grazing land, offering impressive views of Feldberg, the Little and Great Wiesental valleys, and the Swiss Alps. The event takes place on September 19, 2026, and is part of the Black Forest Mountain Running Cup. Participants can take a free return trip by cable car and bus, and luggage is transported to the Belchen.

Three drink stations along the route. Start and finish are in Schönau im Schwarzwald. Late registration is possible on race day until 45 minutes before the start. Free return transport by cable car and bus to the start. Luggage transport to the Belchen. Parking is available at Buchenbrandstadion. Race-number collection and the event hall open at 10:30 a.m. The route includes forest roads and asphalt; registration by email is possible. The route is well marked, and transport options are available.
