Belchenberglauf

The Belchen Mountain Run is a challenging mountain race covering 11.4 km with an elevation gain of 824 meters, running from Schönau in the Black Forest to the Belchen Hotel. The course is approximately 37% forest paths and 63% asphalt, marked with white arrows and red signs, making it trainable year-round. About 80% of the race passes through open terrain with pasture areas, offering impressive views of Feldberg, the Kleine and Große Wiesental valleys, and the Swiss Alps. The event takes place on September 19, 2026, and is part of the Black Forest Mountain Running Cup. Participants receive a free return transport via cable car and bus, as well as luggage transport to the Belchen.

Three refreshment stations along the route. Start and finish are in Schönau in the Black Forest. Late registrations are possible on race day up to 45 minutes before the start. Bib number distribution and event hall open from 10:30 a.m. The course includes forest paths and asphalt; registration via email is possible. The route is well marked, and transport options are available.
