Barmstedter Stadtlauf

The 22nd Barmstedter City Run takes place on 14 June 2026 in Barmstedt. The event features measured, course-record-eligible 5 km and 10 km circuits. In addition to the main races, there are Nordic walking, walking, children’s races and Bambini races. The start and finish are at the Market Square in Barmstedt, and the course runs through the town centre and around Lake Rantzau, over a variety of surfaces including cobblestones, asphalt and firm sandy paths.

Timing uses a rental chip worn around the ankle (except in the children’s races); the chip is collected at the finish. Unreturned chips will be charged at 40 euros. Baby joggers and dogs are not permitted for safety reasons. Different age categories and minimum ages apply to the races. The course may vary slightly due to construction work; information will then be posted on the website. Courses are measured; online registration is available; no late entries; refreshments and medals included.
