Barbara-Runde

The Barbara Run is a traditional race event in Bergkamen-Oberaden, organized annually by SuS Oberaden 1921 e.V. It offers various running distances, including 10 km, 5 km, children’s races, and walking, attracting numerous runners. The event is characterized by a family-friendly atmosphere and a dedicated organizing team that ensures smooth proceedings. The course is known for its fast times and has been awarded multiple course records.

The event includes a children’s run (340 m), student races (800 m, 2,000 m, 3,000 m), main races over 10 km, 5 km run and walk, as well as a 5 x 2,000 m relay. Results can be accessed on my.race|result or RaceResult. The event takes place at the Römerbergstadion in Bergkamen. The organizing team thanks the many volunteers for their commitment. The event also features walking, children’s races, and student competitions. It is popular with approximately 300 to 1,000 participants, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and a spirit of sporting community.
