Bahndammlauf

The Buchholz Bahndammlauf is a varied running event that combines nature and good food. The route starts at the stadium and follows the railway embankment through the districts of Wahl and Wallau to the Franziskuskreuz, with a challenging climb to Mückensee, the highest point on the course. From there, the route continues mostly downhill or on level ground to Asbach-Walgenbach, with several drink stations along the way. The event takes place at the SV Buchholz 05 sports ground and, alongside the race, offers an extensive cake buffet and savoury food from the Grillhexen. Participation supports the Förderkreis für krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche Bonn e.V.

Late entries are possible on the event day until 45 minutes before the start for an additional fee of €5. Race materials can be collected from 07:30 in the start and finish area. The event supports the Förderkreis für krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche Bonn e.V. An awards ceremony takes place directly after each race, with trophies and certificates for the three top finishers. Free parking is available at the nearby REWE car park. Terms and conditions, course profiles, childcare, registration via RaceResult, results and certificates are available online; donations go to children with cancer.
