Race description
The Buchholzer Railway Embankment Run is a varied running event that combines nature and enjoyment. The course leads from the stadium over the railway embankment through the districts of Wahl and Wallau to the Franziskuskreuz, with a challenging uphill section to Mückensee, the highest point of the route. Afterwards, it mostly goes downhill or flat towards Asbach-Walgenbach with several refreshment stations. The event takes place at the sports field of SV Buchholz 05 and offers, in addition to the run, an extensive cake buffet as well as hearty food from the Grillhexen. Participation supports the Förderkreis für krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche Bonn e.V.

Additional information
Late registrations are possible on the day of the event until 45 minutes before the start for a late registration fee of €5. The documents can be collected from 07:30 at the start and finish area. The event supports the Förderkreis für krebskranke Kinder und Jugendliche Bonn e.V. There is an award ceremony immediately after each race with trophies and certificates for the top three finishers. Free parking is available at the nearby REWE parking lot. Participation conditions, route profiles, childcare, registration via RaceResult, results and certificates are available online, with donations going to children with cancer.
