Race description
The Auenwaldlauf is a traditional running event in Auenwald-Hohnweiler, taking place on July 4, 2026. The event offers various race distances for children, adolescents, and adults with a friendly and family-oriented atmosphere. Start and finish are located at the multi-purpose hall in Hohnweiler, and all finishers receive a medal. The races are divided by age and are awarded with trophies, certificates, and material prizes.

Number bib distribution from 4:30 PM at the multi-purpose hall in Hohnweiler. Late registrations are possible up to 45 minutes before the respective start, sometimes with a late registration fee of 3.00 euros. The scoring is age-appropriate with medals for all finishers, trophies, and certificates for the top finishers. Women and men are scored separately. Courses: 5 km, 10 km, children's runs, Nordic walking; water stations along the routes; anniversary classification with 30 km; online registration; start times for different categories between 5:45 PM and 8:00 PM; event takes place at the multi-purpose hall in Hohnweiler.
