6. Weserbergland Backyard Ultra

The Weserbergland Backyard Ultra Run is a unique ultrarunning event in Höxter, North Rhine-Westphalia, held every year in November. Participants run a lap of about 6.7 kilometers every hour until only one runner remains. The race stands out for its distinctive challenge and the camaraderie among runners. The event is known for its demanding course and the impressive performances of participants, who often run for many hours and cover many kilometers.

The race traditionally starts at 10 a.m. Registration usually fills up quickly, and the field often reaches capacity early. There is currently no waiting list. The event is organized by TuS Lütmarsen e. V. Participant numbers are limited to ensure the quality and safety of the event. It is one of Germany's last major Backyard events of the year, with typical November weather and long nights. Registration opens on 1 May 2026.
