6. Halloween Run

The Halloween Run Bremen 2026 takes place on October 31 at Werdersee in Bremen and offers runners a spooky running experience with various distances from 1 km to the marathon. The courses are measured in accordance with German Athletics Association rules and are eligible for record lists, underscoring the competitive nature of the event. Alongside the sporting event, participants can look forward to a spooky atmosphere with costumes, lights and fog, as well as a spectacular fireworks display to close the event. The event is open to all age groups and ability levels, and includes relay races and a children’s run.

Relay races for men’s, women’s and mixed teams with RFID bibs. Costumes are expressly encouraged, but regular sportswear is also allowed. The award ceremony takes place immediately after the Spooky Run and later for the other distances. Fireworks from 18:00 bring the event to a close. The start and finish area is between the Finnbahn at Werdersee and the Grillwiese/DLRG lifeguard station. Several running distances, including the marathon, take place on measured loops; costumes are encouraged; the event concludes with fireworks.
