52. BMW Berlin-Marathon

The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is one of the largest and most renowned marathon events worldwide and part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors. The course is known for its flat topography and takes runners past Berlin's most beautiful sights. The event offers not only the traditional marathon but also a 5-kilometer run, inline skating races, and various participation options through charity, tour operators, or running camps. The event is characterized by a unique energy and an international running community.

On race day, all finishers receive a free, warm, and reusable poncho. Alternatively, for a fee of €5, a clothing drop-off with a transparent bag can be booked. The race documents must be collected in person with the start number and ID at the Marathon Expo. Public transportation within fare zones ABC from September 24 to 27, 2026, is free with the start number. Own provisions can be handed in at designated refreshment stations (no glass containers). Options include charity participation, travel packages, inline skating, training camps, and special bibs for charity runners. The event is part of the World Marathon Majors series.
