4. Rammelsberger Steigerlauf

The Rammelsberger Steigerlauf is a challenging mountain run in the North Harz, held at the Rammelsberg UNESCO World Heritage Site in Goslar. The event offers various routes with gradients of up to 30%, passing through historic mining scenery and varied forest and mountain sections. Participants can look forward to professional timing and a unique running experience with an alpine character. Routes range from a short run for children to a marathon and trail run with up to 1,110 metres of elevation gain. The event is for runners, walkers and trail runners looking to challenge their fitness and sure-footedness.

Late registration is possible on 21.08. from 15:00 to 18:00 and on 22.08. from 08:00 on site, with a €3 late registration fee, up to 30 minutes before the start. All participants receive a yellow wristband for free access to the mining site (excluding guided tours). The BergmannTRAIL starts 200 m underground and includes a 250 m tunnel section where helmets are compulsory. The event takes place in all weather conditions. Dogs are not permitted on the site.
