4. Dorstener 24-Stunden-Lauf

The Dorsten 24-Hour Run is a charity fundraising event held in Dorsten, near the city center, in Bürgerpark Maria Lindenhof. The course is about 1 km long and runs through a scenic park between the Lippe and the Wesel-Datteln Canal. Participants can run, walk or stroll for any amount of time during the 24 hours and complete as many laps as they choose. 100% of the entry fee goes into the donation fund, which supports various social organizations. The event is open to all ages and fitness levels, from a few short laps to a half marathon or marathon.

The event is a charity run, with 100% of all entry fees going into the donation fund. Participants are not required to run for 24 hours straight; everyone can decide for themselves how many laps to run, walk or stroll. The event is organized by interevent GmbH and supported by numerous local sponsors. Functional shirts can be ordered for 27,00 EUR. Start and finish are in the park; registration is available online and on site. Parking is available on Kurt-Schumacher-Straße and in the VHS multi-storey car park. Results for performances of 50 km or more are included in the rankings.
