43. Internationalen Airport Race

The 43rd International Airport Race in Hamburg will take place on September 13, 2026, and offers a varied running experience around Hamburg Airport. The starting shot for the 10-mile course traditionally begins at 11:00 AM at the LSV sports facility on Borsteler Chaussee. In addition to the main race over 10 miles, there are also competitions over 5 km and the Mini Airport Race. The unique airport setting provides ever-changing impressions and a special atmosphere.

In addition to the main race over 10 miles, there is also a 5 km run and a Mini Airport Race over approximately 1.4 km. The event is very popular with nearly 4,000 registered participants. The race is part of the Hamburg Running Cup. Registration is via the official registration website. Courses on streets, footpaths, and hiking trails; online registration; race shirts and medals; catering and showers on race day.
