40. Schweriner Fünf-Seen-Lauf

The Schwerin Five Lakes Run is a traditional race in northern Germany, taking place for the 40th time on 4 July 2026. The event offers a range of distances around Schwerin’s five lakes, including a half marathon, 15 km, 10 km and 5 km races, as well as a children’s sea mile. Runners enjoy a scenic course starting and finishing at Bertha-Klingberg-Platz. The event is known for its good organisation, friendly atmosphere and varied competitions, including corporate and school rankings.

The start and finish are at Bertha-Klingberg-Platz in Schwerin. The event offers a combined ranking for runners who complete both the 10 km race and the half marathon. Timing is provided by a foot chip, and all participants receive medals. Special rankings are available for corporate teams, families and schools. Children under 10 may participate in the 5 km and 10 km races only when accompanied by an adult. Distances include the half marathon, 15 km, 10 km, 5 km and a children’s sea mile. Registration is available online or by post. Entry fees can be paid by SEPA direct debit, credit card or bank transfer.
