38. Frankenwaldlauf

The 38th Frankenwaldlauf in Oßla offers 18.5 km and 9 km races as well as Nordic walking. There are also shorter distances for children and young people, including the Oßlaer Gimpel-Lauf. The course runs through the Thuringian Forest and features beautiful natural scenery. The event is part of regional running cups and offers a family-friendly atmosphere, with refreshments and an awards ceremony on site.

Race number collection and payment take place on site on race day. Late registration is possible until 8:15 a.m. Refreshments include water, tea, soft drinks and fruit; bratwurst and drinks are available for purchase. Changing rooms and toilets in the Kulturhaus near the start/finish area are free to use. There is ample parking, for example at the cemetery and in the start/finish area. Certificates will be sent by email after the race. The awards ceremony takes place at 11:30 a.m. in the start/finish area. Card payments are not accepted; the nearest ATM is in Wurzbach.
