28. Tangerpokallauf

The 28th Tanger Cup Run in Demker is the oldest running event organized by SC Demker '95 and is part of the Elbe-Ohre Cup. The course runs through the autumnal Tanger lowlands between Demker and Weißewarte, past Deutsches Eck, under the Stendal–Magdeburg railway line, and through the Süppling woodland. Distances offered are 1.2 km for children and young people, and 5.4 km and 12.0 km for older young people and adults. The terrain is mostly flat, with gentle rises formed by the dikes surrounding Demker.
