24. Röntgenlauf

The Röntgenlauf in Remscheid is a traditional scenic race with various distances, including 5 km, 10 km, half marathon, marathon, and ultramarathon. The half marathon is particularly popular, attracting up to 1500 participants and considered one of the largest scenic races in Germany. The courses lead through diverse natural scenery with forest paths and asphalt sections, with the half marathon covering about one-third of the Röntgenweg. There is a shuttle service from the finish back to the start for the half marathon, and environmental protection is emphasized by recommending reusable drinking containers.

The half marathon has an age restriction from 16 years, and the marathon and ultramarathon from 18 years. Minors require a written consent from guardians. There is clothing transport from start to finish and bus transfer from finish back to start. Participants are asked to use their own reusable drinking containers to protect the environment. Race bib, finisher medal, and refreshments are included. Courses vary from 5 km to ultramarathon (63.3 km), including children's races and scenic runs; registration until October 25, 2026.
