19. Lauf zwischen den Meeren

The Run Between the Seas is a unique relay race that takes participants as a team on a 92.2-kilometer route from Husum on the North Sea to Damp on the Baltic Sea. The course crosses Schleswig-Holstein and connects the coasts of both seas, with up to ten athletes per team running together. The race promotes both individual performance and community and attracts up to 800 teams from amateur and elite sports. The fastest relay teams take about 5 hours and 10 minutes to reach the finish line around 2:15 PM.

The entry fee is per team (5-10 runners). Teams registering for the corporate classification pay an additional 19% VAT. Race materials can be sent by mail (shipping option available until March 31, 2026) or collected at two pick-up dates (May 22, 10 AM - 6 PM, May 29, 1 PM - 8 PM). The race starts in Husum at the harbor pier, organized by LAV Husum. The course includes 10 exchange points and is partially temporarily closed for railway crossings. Relay marathon, registration opens June 13, 2025, various stages, team and individual participation, catering and accommodation on site.
