13. Schloss Marienburg Marathon

The 13th Schloss Marienburg Marathon takes place on November 21, 2026, in Nordstemmen-Adensen. This varied scenic marathon is suitable for both experienced runners and beginners. The course follows village streets, paved and unpaved country lanes, woodland paths, and trails, with about 560 metres of elevation gain. A special highlight is the refreshment station in the courtyard of Schloss Marienburg, where runners can take a break. The 21.1 km course is shaped like a figure eight, with three refreshment stations in Adensen, and offers beautiful views of the Calenberger Land and the Leinebergland in good weather.

Early marathon start at 9:00 a.m. for runners who need more than 6 hours. Official electronic timekeeping. Refreshments approximately every 5 km, including water, tea, isotonic drinks, cola, fruit, and gingerbread. Changing rooms, showers, toilets, and baggage storage in the start/finish area. German Red Cross medical service in the start/finish area and along the course. Participant limit: 550 runners, including a maximum of 300 half-marathon runners. Hilly course with trails, 560 metres of elevation gain, scenic views, aid stations every 5 km.
