Marathon
Race description
The Heilwald Marathon in Bad Lippspringe is a special race held amidst the 200-hectare Heilwald, a uniquely European recreational and therapeutic forest with a calming low mountain climate. The course consists of six large laps of 7.05 km each, totaling 42.3 km, carefully measured with a surveyor’s wheel and GPS. The event is a private running event with self-supply, where times are manually recorded and a photo of the clock must be submitted as proof. Participation is at your own risk, and there is no entry fee; instead, a voluntary donation for tree planting is requested.

Additional information
Timing is done with a manual stopwatch, proof via photo of the clock on race day by email. No showers or changing rooms available. Participant limit 18, minimum age 18. Participation at your own risk with liability waiver. The organizer reserves the right to reject registrations without giving reasons.
