08. Dünenfeld Marathon

The Dünenfeld Marathon in Augustdorf is a special race held according to the rules of the 100 Marathonclub Deutschland. The course consists of seven large laps of 6.1 km each, for a total of 42.7 km, and has some trail-like sections. The start is at the level of the viewing platform, where runners can enjoy a beautiful view of the large dune fields. This is a private race with self-sufficiency and manual timekeeping; a photo of the clock must be submitted by email as proof.

The race takes place with at least 3 participants. There is no entry fee, but a voluntary donation of 5 € is requested. Timekeeping is done with a manual stopwatch, and a photo of the clock must be emailed on the same day. Showers and changing facilities are not available. Participants must be at least 18 years old. The course is marked with tape. Participants must be self-sufficient, as the start area is passed after every lap. Trail-like sections, self-sufficiency, no showers/changing facilities, participation at your own risk, limited number of participants, registration by 18:00 on the day before.
